YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Selling Clocks, Lighters For Charity

Legendary Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen has set up an eBay store with some rare items and personal belongings to help raise funds for various charities. Among the items that are being auctioned are a Cartier gold-plated lighter and a Tiffany & Co. portable travel clock.

Acclaimed heavy metal singer Tim "Ripper" Owens (BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH),who has been fronting Yngwie's band both live and in the studio since February 2008, was unable to join Malmsteen on July 7 at Getaway Rock Festival in Gävle, Sweden due to scheduling conflicts with Tim's official Ronnie James Dio tribute band DIO DISCIPLES. Handling most of the lead vocals during Yngwie's set at Getaway Rock was bassist Ralph Ciavolino.
